A flat bowl makes a cat bend its neck and scrape the bottom with its muzzle. This one sits on a foot and leans forward: the food slides towards the opening on its own, and the head stays in line.
The high back keeps the food in
The base rises at the back into a wall that acts as a stop. Kibble comes back to the centre instead of leaving the bowl — which is what saves you the ring of crumbs around it.
The measurements
13 cm wide at the opening, 12 cm tall, 11 cm at the base. The height is set for an adult cat sitting down: the front paws stay on the floor, the animal doesn't have to stand up to eat.
One piece to wash
Bowl and foot are moulded together: no seam for food to lodge in. The surface is smooth and rinses in seconds.
The cat-ear cut-out isn't only decoration: it lowers the rim at the front, where the muzzle goes in.
